A lot of great images were submitted for the contest and “Portraits” was the category. The judges looked over them all and two grabbed their attention. Congratulations to Amaris Hames owner of Amaris Photo and Dave Shay of Dave Shay Photography. Two great photographers, two great images that both attained four stars.
The contest is heating up and the race for the hardware is still up for grabs. The point system is simple. An image will receive 25 points per star, which represents a judge’s selection. Each month four judges will comb over all the photos and provide a star to each image they deem worthy. An image will receive an award badge if it gains three or more stars.
