The workshop is complementary for Wedding & Portrait Society members. Seats are limited to 25. Steve Jamroz and Christobal Perez will be your instructors. Steve Jamroz, Cr. Photog., CPP
Jamroz is an experienced photographer and photography educator. Steve’s style seamlessly blends together photojournalistic moments, casual portraits and fine details to tell the story of a wedding day. Using a combination of natural light and off-camera flash techniques, he creates dynamic images that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
In addition to his field experience, Steve has earned a Photographic Craftsman degree (Cr. Photog.) through Professional Photographers of America for his service in photography education and his dedication to helping other photographers become better. Steve also holds a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) credential through PPA that acknowledges technical excellence, artistic expertise and professionalism. His photography articles on lighting have been featured in publications such as Professional Photographer Magazine reaching 80,000 photographers across the country.
Christobal Perez / Azul Photography
Perez is a multiple Pulitzer Prize nominated photojournalist and a National Headliners award-winner. As a photojournalist, he worked for several large daily newspapers including The News and Observer and the Houston Chronicle. In 2007, Christobal was named the AGWPJA’s 5th ranked wedding photojournalist in the world and the WPJA’s 8th ranked wedding photojournalist in the world. In 2009, he was the top wedding photojournalist in North and South Carolina and later in 2010 he won Brides Magazine International Photo Competition.
